Final Gravity Craftbrewers

Over the next few weeks I will be working on the site a good bit so if you see it go into maintenance mode don't be alarmed. I plan on adding lots of our content from the Yahoo Groups page along with pertinent information about the club. I plan on shifting all of the discussion from the Yahoo group to this site and I plan to make it as easily accessible as possible. Also I plan to re-vamp the look of the site and make it a better web presence.

Our Roasted Coconut Porter (with some Egyptian Dates and vanilla pods) won the 2011 BYCO.  We'd like thank Sweetwater for sponsering the event and keeping us all out of the rain with their multitude of huge tents. Also, we want to extend gratitide to the rest of the contenders.  There were some excellent beers and we are suprised and humbled to have won.  Specials props to Atlanta's homebrewing clubs who participated.... Covert Hops and Brewmasters of Alpharetta!! Cheers... we'll be drinking more of it at Sweetwater's 420 Fest!!

Our Barrel Aged Old Ale has reached perfection and is ready to make an exodous from the barrel, thus we are making plans for the next group brew.  The plan is to brew a clone of the Westvleteren 12 and age it in the Woodford Reserve barrel.  The barrel has added a lot of American oak, bourbon (obvisously) and some sourness to the Old Ale which would translate very nicely to a Belgian Dark Strong.
